Bigtone Studio Plex mkII
The BIGTONE Studio Plex is the amp that started it all and has now evolved into the Studio Plex mkII. Now a 50W dual channel amp that can cover two very different objectives: the studio player who needs a palette of tones thanks to the several toneshaping options that the circuit delivers, and the -I just need a couple of good sounds- player that doesn't want to get bored with complicated front panel controls.
From crispy British cleans to sweet classic overdrive, this amp can cover lots of different tones with preamp switch selections and the Gain control. Exhibiting exceptional dynamics to capture the player's feeling.
This amp reacts extremely well with boost and overdrive pedals. It just loves them and you'll love how they perfectly mix togheter.
Channel 1 will get you in the clean to crunch department, depending on how you adjust the gain, bold-neutral-bright switch and volume.
Channel 2 will get you into the low to medium-high gain sounds, also featuring a bold-neutral-bright switch. The overall gain and feel of the amp is controlled by the high gain front panel switch, that will be the perfect option to go from smooth to aggressive sounds with the flick of a switch.
If that's not enough, there is an internal fixed Gain Boost available on both channels. This way Channel 1 can go up to classic rock sounds, and Channel 2 can go into hard rock high gain tones or liquid leads.
The Power Amp is based on a classic British 50 watt EL34 power amp, with some tweaks to allow adjustment on the fly from classic to modern sounds. Thanks to Deep, Feedback and Presence controls the response can range from soft to hard, from focused to wider spectrum.
Our amps all feature heavy-duty PCBs (2.4mm thick, double sided 70um copper) and oversized high quality components to ensure a problem-free life, along with Mercury Magnetics mains and output transformers and choke, and selected tubes for maximum tone from the first day of use. There is no need to hunt for improvement tweaks after purchase - extensive R&D in the lab and on stage means we can confidently say we have already done that for you.

Bigtone Razor
The BIGTONE Razor is designed for hard rock and high gain players. 2 channels for overdriven tone lovers that desire maximum tone and dynamics whilst avoiding over-compressed, fizzy sounds.
Channel 1 begins with crunch, rising to medium/high-gain levels. Although not technically a 'clean' channel, lower Gain settings yield clean sounds with vintage pick-ups, breaking up well with hotter coils as the best old amps do at full tilt.
Channel 2 goes from high gain to massive gain. Handling this gain-fest with aplomb, low noise was a design priority, and the amp remains tight, focused in the midrange to cut through in a band-mix. Keeping to the spirit of the Studio Plex (see our other products), front panel controls are straightforward and simple to use with one Gain for each channel, shared EQ, and 2 independent Master Volumes.
The Power Amp is based on a classic British 100 watt EL34 power amp, set at maximum plate voltage, with some tweaks to allow adjustment on the fly from classic to modern sounds. Thanks to Deep, Feedback and Presence controls the response can range from soft to hard, from focused to wider spectrum.
Judicious use of EQ and power amp controls will guide the user from cutting 80s tones through to modern bass-heavy tones.
Unusually for a high gain amp, boost pedals are well accepted... so for those players who need more than 2 gain levels for different purposes... don’t miss the opportunity of trying this amp with a transparent boost for more gain or different tone flavours!
Our amps all feature heavy-duty PCBs (2.4mm thick, double sided 70um copper) and oversized high quality components to ensure a problem-free life, along with Mercury Magnetics mains and output transformers and choke, and selected tubes for maximum tone from the first day of use. Bigtone Chameleon
The BIGTONE Chameleon is our flagship amplifier, featuring 3 distinct channels that create sounds from crispy American cleans up to angry British overdriven tones. All packaged with a simple and powerful front panel interface that lets you fine tune your sound. Our custom power amp controls let you tame the response of the amp depending on your needs.
The Clean channel yields the best West Coast American sounds. Remaining clean with high output pickups, allowing a dynamic and crispy sound with the gain low and the volume up. Alternatively, increase the gain for gentle compression and a warmer tone, adjusting the volume to your needs. The bright switch adds a touch of sparkle when needed, and the powerful EQ was designed to allow enough scope to shape your clean sound to perfection.
The dual Drive channel features fully independent circuitry for the first gain stages, avoiding compromises in the sound of each channel. Each channel has it's own independent Volume control with shared EQ for maximum simplicity on the front panel interface.
Drive 1 channel begins with slightly overdriven sounds - switch in Low Gain position, and Gain 1 low. Turn up Gain 1 and engage High Gain for classic fat, yet tight, overdriven sounds.
Drive 2 channel moves to tight, focused rhythm sounds and fluid gain for soloing.
The Power Amp is based on a classic British 100 watt EL34 power amp, with some tweaks to allow adjustment on the fly from classic to modern sounds. Thanks to Deep, Feedback and Presence controls the response can range from soft to hard, from focused to wider spectrum.
